James Dashner, the author of The Maze Runner series was born and raised in Austell, Georgia in 1972. He grew up to be one of most renowned teen/young adult fiction writer, and his many books are loved across America. Dashner grew up in a family of 8 and was a graduate of Brigham Young University. This great author spawned multiple book series such as The Maze Runner, The 13th Reality, and The Morality Doctrine.
